Renewable Lubricants has introduced Bio-Food Grade HT antiseize compound, a biobased extreme-pressure compound for lubricating sliding surfaces in a variety of industrial applications. Designed to provide antiweld protection and withstand high pressures in sliding surfaces, it protects the shoulder and threads of bolts against damage from galling or seizure.
The product is fortified with synthetic white graphite that lubricates at high pressure and temperatures greater than 1,000 degrees C. Nonstaining on aluminum and yellow metals, it provides antirust, antioxidation, and antiwear protection. It is formulated from biodegradable and renewable agricultural plant resources with no heavy metals, lead, antimony, zinc, or chlorine.
The compound is suitable for the metalworking, manufacturing, military, food and beverage, industrial transportation, marine, agriculture, and mining industries. It is available in an 8-oz. can with brush, 7-lb. pail, 35-gal. pail, 120-lb. keg, and 400-lb. drums. Rapid demulsification allows users to drain water from the system quickly to prevent corrosion, protect components, and extend oil life.
