ESAB has introduced the Savage A50 Lux welding helmet. The automatic helmet includes five-contact-point Halo headgear to distribute helmet weight and allows fit adjustments. OpTCS true-color viewing at an EN 1/1/1/1 optical level lets the operator see the HAZ and weld puddle with clarity.
The integrated 50-lumen front head light shuts off automatically with light or when the arc starts. The molded 9-in. lens, made with a quick-release design, is recessed in the helmet shell to help reduce scratches and damage.
Nine different shade levels cover low- and high-amperage welding, oxyfuel cutting, and plasma cutting. A low, passive-state shade 3 ADF level allows for clear weld inspection.
