Rail helps increase workstation crane capacities

Engineered Material Handling (EMH) has introduced aluminum V-Track rail for AL-System workstation cranes. For 1,000-lb. installations, the maximum span length increases to 31 ft. The maximum span length for 2,200-lb. installations (with a 4 by 4 V-Track) increases to 24 ft., 2 in.

The cranes can be installed for workstation applications with lower capacity requirements up to 2,200 lbs. They can be configured to suit almost any application and accommodate a variety of lifters and handling devices.

The company’s T-slot design allows two pieces of rail to be spliced together to allow installation with integrating equipment and helps eliminate bumps when a load is moved over track splices.
